Pro. Jianxiong Hao, is the leader of the food processing and safety control team at Hebei University of Science and Technology. He graduated with a PhD in Food Science from China Agricultural University in 2011, and is the dean of the Colledge of Food Science and Biology in Hebei University of Science and Technology. He was awarded the Outstanding Youth Fund of Hebei Province in 2018. His main research direction is food processing and safety control technology, mainly focusing on on safety control and development of functional water in food processing, especially sterilization mechanisms of electrolyzed functional water, biofilm removal by slightly acidic electrolyzed water, interactions between alkaline electrolyzed drinking water and bioactive substances, application in fruit and vegetable beverages, as well as development of microcurrent and novel electrolyzed waters.
