Dr. Hualiang Pi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Microbial Pathogenesis and Microbial Sciences Institute. Her received her Ph.D. in Microbiology from Cornell University and conducted her postdoctoral training at Vanderbilit University Medical Center. Her lab focuses on elucidating microbial stress defense mechanisms important for bacterial infection. She is the recipient of an NIH Pathway to Independence Award (K99/R00).
